By an element of chance I loosen the boundaries of traditional fused sculpture. I conceive of the mould not only as a vessel to be filled with glass, but as a non-invasive means to channel glass in its liquid state. This intensive experiment consisted primarily of balancing the prediction of the glass's behavior, the method of stacking in the kiln, and the determination of the highest temperature - which are also my only inputs to the process. The material output is static records of the movement of the molten glass.
