About me

I am a multidisciplinary artist working across various media, including photography, video, performance, drawing, ceramics, textiles, and more. In recent years, I have focused particularly on fiber art, creating large-scale textile objects that serve as symbolic protective structures for the energetic well-being of the Latvian nation in the face of potential threats—both real and metaphorical. My artistic practice is grounded in the exploration of human existence. Through a fusion of world observation and intuitive creation, I aim to communicate with the viewer in a visual language about the mysteries of being and inner transformation. Nature and imagined rituals play a central role in my work. Through these rituals, I seek to reconnect with a sense of primal strength and authentic inner power.
