Alma Val’s practice investigates the tension between form and emptiness, presence and absence through textile art. The mountain emerges as a recurring ancestral and universal figure, existing both as image and structure — a space for projection, connection, and utopian thought.
Her work is rooted in a sustained dialogue with ancient cultures, minimalism, and human–nature relationships.
