In a time of global uncertainty, my work invites viewers to pause and reflect on what is truly seen—and what remains hidden.
My name is Andrii. I’m 33 years old. I was born in the city of Zaporizhzhya, Ukraine.
I started painting in 2022, and since then I have achieved the following:
- Winner of the national stage of the PostEurop 2023 competition.
- Designed one of the most successful postage stamps in Ukraine, with a circulation of around one million copies.
- Created several successful coin designs for the National Bank of Ukraine.
- Collaborated with the clothing brands to create a limited edition of T-shirts featuring my illustrations.
- Has participated in art exhibitions in Spain and Italy.
In 2024, I began working with acrylics on canvas. Through this medium, I aim to bring my thoughts and ideas to life and share them with a wider audience. My artistic style has a complex backstory, rooted in my fascination with photons, quantum physics, and the observer effect. This concept struck me deeply. Rather than explain it in detail, I encourage you to explore it yourself. But imagine a photon as a single point reflected on the retina — that point is all that truly exists; everything else is uncertain. My technique is inspired by this idea. I use imaginary “photons” in the form of paint dots to depict what I see in my mind — or what unfolds there. This way, the observer is invited to witness and interpret my inner world.
