My vibe
I observe changes in space and environment. I appreciate figurative art, but I don't consider it the pinnacle. I love complex manual techniques and am looking for ways to make them contemporary.
About me
In my artistic practice, I explore the nature of traces, the memory of place, and the process of slow observation. Working at the intersection of layered painting and printmaking — specifically etching, stencil, frottage, and cyanotype — I view the image as the result of a long contact with surface, time, and environment. I am interested in the themes of drift, migration, and the changing nature of space. By focusing on everyday or hidden phenomena, I capture larger processes: climate change, urban transformation, and the shift of collective memory. An important part of my practice involves techniques that allow only partial control. Long manual labor and careful planning are combined with the accidental nature of the print and the resistance of the material. These limitations become a way to speak about the fragility and fluidity of the surrounding world. In painting, I work with glazing and texture, balancing the physical materiality of the image with its dissolution. The surface becomes a space of accumulation, where time gains a visible weight.
