About me
Hello!
I’m a folk artist from northwest Georgia! I love to create! I’m happiest when I’m creating. It doesn’t matter if it’s painting, drawing, crafting, sewing, crocheting, making jewelry, as long as I’m creating I’m in my happy place.
I started studying art as a young child. I took classes at the Hunter Art Museum in Chattanooga, TN as well as private classes. I majored in art at Berry College and minored in Visual Communication. I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree.
After college I suffered a setback falling ill and landed in a four month coma. Doctors did not think I would survive and if I did I would not have all my brain function.
I did survive and had to re learn how to do just about everything including art. I poured myself into it, painting as much as I could and I’ve come a long way. I keep learning though. Every piece teaches me something new and I love sharing my art with the world.
