My vibe
I make digital art with eye, hand, and heart. Find me in a calm, intentional space.
About me
My practice begins in a moment of startled fascination—a sudden, electric jolt of wonder sparked by the relatively ordinary. Whether it is a gnarled outcrop of tree bark, a seed head catching the light like steel, or the texture of water bubbling across metal in a sink, these fleeting instants transform the observed object into a portal. From this spark, a new space opens, and an artwork comes alive. While sometimes a singular piece, my work more often unfolds in extended series over weeks and months, 'riffing' on the object that holds me in its spell.
I work primarily in digital media, yet my compositions remain deeply grounded in the sensory reality of human experience. Unlike AI-generated imagery, my work is born from a vulnerable, human gaze. These pieces are acts of defiance against the relentless passage of time, capturing the "sweet fragility" of life and transmuting the chaos of the immediate moment into structures of enduring beauty.
This process is intrinsically tied to memory and repetition. By pushing a single visual element to its limit, I follow the inner artistic logic that emerges through iteration. The result is a fusion of the familiar and the entirely new—a mysterious world where rough, hand-drawn lines converse with crisp digital geometry.
My work does not offer a fixed interpretation but invites a dialogue. I ask the viewer to bring their own reflections to the canvas. In an age of accelerated visual noise, my art provides a space for slowness, careful looking, and contemplation. It suggests that within the most mundane details of daily existence lies an abundance of wonder, waiting to be forged into something magical.
Ultimately, I seek to offer you a catalyst for your own sense of awe. By witnessing the transformation of a fleeting moment into a lasting form, we are reminded that change is a constant companion, and that within every day, there exists the potential for a miracle.
