My art is rooted in nature, myth and ghost stories, using drawing and loose brushstrokes.
About me
Charlotte's paintings are about place, time and history, and an interrogation of the conceptual and material space around her. Our ancestors wove beasts and supernatural folk into stories warning us not to stray from the path or enter the woods. There is beauty in these myths and to the light bouncing off the hills and chalk paths, and deep shadows.
