About me

AdMa is an artistic duo composed of visual artist and art teacher Adriana Giannini (1996) and composer and sound designer Mariano Paternoster (1980). Together, they aim to investigate the existing connections between the various disciplines of human thought by identifying, in the study of hybridizations between languages, the object for the creation of new artworks and for reflection on the complexity of the social context, by which art and science are influenced. Rejecting the idea of “purity,” they explore the immense potential of border worlds, seeking to break down the clear differentiation between artistic categories. In particular, they deal with the expressive potentials of audiovisual installations by creating interactive ecosystems. AdMa’s works are predominantly focused on messages regarding the psychological and social sphere.
