Raw, tactile, and unapologetically intimate—where softness meets tension. I push textile beyond comfort, using material to expose vulnerability and disrupt tradition.
I am a textile artist working with material as a carrier of emotion, tension, and physical experience. My practice is rooted in texture and touch—how surfaces can hold memory, sensitivity, and quiet intensity. I approach textiles not as something decorative, but as a language that allows vulnerability and strength to exist side by side.
Through hand-based processes, I work slowly and intuitively, letting repetition and material resistance shape the outcome. I am drawn to moments where softness becomes uneasy, where comfort shifts into tension, and where fragility reveals its strength. My work exists in this in-between space—intimate yet confrontational.
What drives my practice is an urge to explore emotional states that are difficult to define—exposure, sensitivity, and the complexity of inhabiting a body. I often work through contrasts: soft and rigid, controlled and unpredictable, delicate and raw.
Rather than following tradition, I aim to stretch and disrupt it. I use textile in ways that invite a closer, more physical encounter—where the viewer doesn’t just see the work, but senses it. My practice is about making the intangible tangible, and allowing material to speak beyond words.
