Evelyn J is a self-taught visual artist whose work delves into the depths of human emotion, exploring the complex interplay between fear, pleasure and the purpose behind these experiences.

​Originally emerging from a 12-year career in music, Evelyn transitioned into visual art as a response to the creative constraints he encountered in his previous medium. Frustrated by its limitations, he turned to visual expression as a more authentic and uninhibited way to communicate his innermost feelings and truths.

This shift marked the beginning of a new form of performance—one rooted in honesty, vulnerability, and exploration.
