About me

As an Eco-artivist, Rubbish Artist, and Waste Mosaicist, I pioneer sustainable art and use waste—my "trashure"—as my primary material. I create hopeful artworks that protest disposable lifestyles and advocate for innovative systemic re-thinking. I believe art is the closest thing we have to a universal language, and therefore the most effective means to spark dynamic conversations, engage wide audiences, and build networks across society for collective action towards sustainability.

My eco-artivism is a Gesamtkunstwerk: I follow a vegan lifestyle, use renewable energy, wear second-hand clothes, avoid plastic, source local food, conserve water, tend to my garden, and rarely travel by air.

After living in Italy, France, and the US, I settled in the UK. I am a former City solicitor and graduated with distinction from the London School of Mosaic in 2019, where I also lectured.
I founded Payment in Kind(ness)© (accepting eco-friendly actions as payment), ArtforTrash© (creating art from clients' waste), and most recently GREENy bastARTs—an international eco-artivist collective of artists, scientists, communities, and activists. It serves as a bridge between environmental understanding and transformative action across Europe, offering a resource platform of connections and tools to empower anyone to join the Change.

I am an activist member of Project One Wave and frequently give eco-artivist talks in a variety of settings. I am also on retainer with Venice's Institute of Marine Sciences (National Research Council) and taught Art(ivism) at the Italian School in London.

I contribute regularly to periodicals in the United States and Italy, and I am a member of IOAEA, ActforEaling, BAMM, ArtCan, and Mensa. I donate 10% of ArtforTrash income to the Captain Paul Watson Foundation UK.

My quest explores material metamorphosis, pushing art and mosaic boundaries while pursuing maximum social engagement through minimal environmental impact, catalysing change.
