About me

I studied painting and scenography at the Art Academy of Latvia and pursued additional training in the restoration of paper and polychrome wood.
In my art, I consider the observation of nature and life, and the capturing of their fleeting moments to be essential. I have a special fondness for birds and their vibrant lives.
Gold leafs plays an integral role in my work, helping to elevate seemingly ordinary subjects to a more universal level and bring them closer to the sacred.
