About me

I am a contemporary wildlife artist specializing in large-scale oil portraits on canvas. My work is defined by its deep, rugged impasto textures and dramatic, high-contrast lighting, which allow me to bring the physical presence of the animal kingdom to life.Rather than aiming for smooth realism, I use bold, directional brushwork to mimic the organic complexity of wildlife—from the deep, weathered crevices of an elephant's skin to the dense, layered patterns of a leopard's coat. At the heart of every piece is a focus on the eyes, capturing a piercing, reflective gaze that bridges the gap between the viewer and the natural world.
