About me

I am a French-English artist (b. 1999) based in Berlin. My dream-like oil paintings inhabit the space between visual beauty and emotional discomfort, drawing on surrealism, expressionism, and ideas from somatic psychology to explore the relationship between body, psyche, and lived experience.

My practice explores how emotional experiences and recurring states of mind shape our sense of self and our relationship to others. Through surreal imagery, symbolic forms, and recurring organic motifs, I create intimate, psychologically charged narratives around the ways we carry our experiences, become attached to them, and struggle with the parts of ourselves we cannot simply escape. Roots and branches extend from the
figures’ heads or bodies into their surroundings, giving physical presence to internal states that have grown beyond containment.

The figures exist in a quiet tension between resistance and release, carrying what has become part of them while longing to feel free from it. Windows, changing light, and the passage of time suggest a world continuing beyond them, while the figures remain suspended within their own internal experience. Beneath the heaviness, there is still the possibility of growth, movement, and renewal.
