Huang Huixian employs a diverse range of mixed media in her artistic practice. In her recent creations, she centers on easel painting, poetically integrating Eastern and Western mysticism, folklore, and mythological visual narratives. Within dreamlike temporal and spatial scenes, she explores the omnipresent mysterious laws of nature.

Rooted in numerological systems such as the Five Elements, the I Ching, and astrological divination—frameworks that explain the operation, balance, and transformation of natural forces—she combines her meditative perceptions of temporal fluidity. Her works pursue an ambiguous, synaesthetic experience of time, weaving abstract natural symbols into poetic, rhythmically shifting compositions.

These pieces invite viewers to engage in philosophical reflection on mysticism, encouraging a holistic perspective on the natural world and fostering a renewed emotional connection with it.
