Ilze Preisa is a visual artist whose work merges Art Nouveau aesthetics, mythological symbolism, and contemporary expression. Her paintings and graphic art create a unique world — a visual space where reality and fantasy converge into a metaphorical language.
Preisa’s creative universe is deeply infused with the multifaceted nature of the feminine, themes of identity and transformation, and symbolic imagery referencing Greek mythology and ancient cultures. In her works, garments become masks, birds take on both exotic and ominous roles, and the red theater curtain reveals the hidden landscapes of the human psyche.
