Visual artist & beach collector, investigating the complex relationship between human action and natural ecosystems.
My work primarily explores the complex relationship between human action and natural (eco)systems. I engage with environmental and social concerns, aiming for a strong visual presence — because words never seem quite enough.
Using discarded ceramic shards, sand, shells, wood, and human debris found on the beach, I create sculptural compositions that question the possibility of adaptation and survival in the face of environmental impact and an egocentric society.
The collected matter, once useful and functional, is reorganised without hierarchy, through intuitive and meticulous gestures — an attempt to repair these (eco)systems and respond to the urgency of memory reconstruction.
The final work, more than a manifesto, questions consumption habits and what we continuously discard, and how the choices we make individually shape our collective future.
The line between beauty and chaos is thin, dangerous, and revealing. I propose that we confront reality. Let us look clearly and consciously. Let us feel fear in what we see — and in what we don’t. Let us observe closely what still resists, and become obsessed with the Artworks of Nature.
