Ethereal and introspective—photographing nature, people, and their shared bodily dimensions to explore femininity and impermanence.
I’m a multidisciplinary, self-taught artist working in the liminal space between the corporeal and the ethereal. Through photography, collage, hand-printing, scanning, and analog distortion, I explore the fragility of identity, the mutability of the female form, and our deep yet often detached relationship with the natural world.
My work embraces impermanence—bodies dissolve, flowers decay, and surfaces blur into abstraction. Using techniques that intentionally disrupt clarity—layering texture, distortion, and fragmentation, obscuring faces—I aim to create images that evoke memory, dream, and emotional depth, inviting the viewer into a visceral experience and emotional reading of the image. These processes mirror my interest in photographic impermanence, where beauty is inseparable from degradation.
Nature and the female form are equal collaborators in my work, each reflecting shared cycles of birth, decay, and renewal. At its core, my practice explores questions of embodiment, womanhood, and impermanence.
