I am a digital artist exploring fantasy realms and characters inspired by contemporary Gen-z culture
Karolina is a young artist whose practice is rooted in observation and anatomy, learning to see through line, light, and proportion. Working mainly in digital illustration and applied arts, she continues to explore the multitude of creative pathways in search of her own voice.
For the past six years, she’s been exploring digital art and illustration independently—merging the precision of her classical training with the storytelling energy of anime and video games. Her digital portfolio is rich with original characters, hybrid landscapes, and mythologies influenced by multiple cultures. Each piece is a self-contained world, where costume, gesture, and palette carry narrative weight. It’s in these imagined realities that her technical foundation meets a looser, emotionally charged visual language.
Now studying Woodworking Art at the Riga School of Art and Design (RMMT), she brings her practice into the physical realm. This shift—from screen to timber, from stylus to chisel—reveals a fascination with contrast: the hypermodern alongside the ancient, the pixel beside the grain. Whether shaping a digital scene or carving a tangible form, she pursues the same instinct—crafting with intention, rooted in both tradition and invention.
