I am undergoing treatment for a cancer recurrence. During this time, I returned from digital drawing to working with physical materials.

Physical limitations translate into gesture — into a turn, a tilt, a movement on the canvas.

Each difficult episode of treatment becomes a point of motivation: I tell myself, I did it, I didn’t give up.
