My visual language is based on childhood memories, mythological motifs, fairy tales, and also everyday life.
My artistic practice is a process of self-exploration and transformation. In a dialogue between memory and bodily experience, I explore the identity of an immigrant woman in the context of decolonialism. My visual language is childhood memories, mythological motifs, fairy tales. I return to female archetypes as an ancient code in order to understand my history and bodily memory through it.
In my installations, I strive to evoke contemplative participation - an internal response in which the viewer becomes a witness and participant in a silent process of memory and transformation.
