About me
Katrīna Levāne is an interdisciplinary artist, primarily a painter, based in Riga, Latvia. In 2021, she graduated from Riga Building College with a qualification as an architecture technician. Then in 2025, she graduated from the Art Academy of Latvia, earning a bachelor’s degree in painting. Currently doing her master's degree in the Art Academy of Latvia painting program, Katrīna also has taken part in art residencies such as ”SustainARTability” by EUNIC, “Optižūns”, “Simbioze2.0”, and “SAVVAĻA/SAVAGE”. Katrīna has held several solo shows in Latvia, her most recent one being “the flight trajectories of dragonflies” exhibited in the Grand Poet hotel. She has also participated in group exhibitions in Latvia, Italy, and Lithuania. Her works are a part of the “VV Foundation” collection in Latvia.
