About me

I am a Latvian visual artist, fine art restorer, and emerging curator working across painting, restoration, and contemporary art. In 2025, I completed a Master’s degree in Restoration at the Art Academy of Latvia and currently pursue a second Master’s degree in Curatorial Studies, expanding my practice into contemporary art processes and exhibition-making.

My work has been presented in group exhibitions in Latvia and internationally, including exhibitions organized by the Latvian Artists’ Union and the Latvian State Forests Scholarship in Art (2023–2025), where I received the Audience Award in both 2023 and 2024. I participated in ART RIGA FAIR 2025, the RIGA CONTEMPORARY SURREALISM BIENNALE 2026, and received the Jūrmala Museum Award in 2025 for my work 2 Monkeys at the juried exhibition “Cik vērts?”.

In September 2026, I participated in “Nida Expression XXXII,” the 32nd International Professional Painting Plein-Air in Nida, Lithuania, bringing together artists from several countries and allowing me to further develop my painting practice through direct engagement with landscape, observation, and international artistic exchange.

I am also part of the international ArtandFashionRiga project as an exhibiting artist and event host, where I explore the concept of the art-dress through painting and mixed media. Alongside my artistic and curatorial practice, I work as a painting teacher at Paint & Progress studio.

My artistic practice combines technical precision with contemporary conceptual thinking. Working primarily in realistic and hyperrealistic painting, I explore psychological states, relationships, emotional tension, vulnerability, fragmentation, and connection, bringing together classical painting techniques with contemporary artistic approaches.
