About me

My work examines the concept of alternate universes through plant cells. I explore this theme through turning cells into their own entities and creating new environments. I am completely intrigued by these microscopic cells and their processes. I imagine otherworldly imagery being generated by these building blocks of life. Drawing inspiration from plant cell diagrams and artists like Shoshana Dubiner, Sharona Eliassaf and their own artworks of alternative realities, I am engaging in the process of discovering a new world. Color relationships are formed to create vibrancy and unfamiliarity. Acrylic gouache, organic shapes, patterns, and textures are layered to illustrate the strangeness and beauty of this unknown place.



At its core, my work takes inspiration from plant cells on Earth and turns them into hypothetical terrain. I aim to create and display works that show beauty and curiosity in this new world.
