About me
Lana Hackbarth is a visual artist from Boston, Massachusetts, now based in Berlin, Germany. After completing her BFA at the University of Massachusetts Boston in 2023, she relocated to Berlin following an art studio internship, where she began focusing on the development of her independent practice. Working primarily in pencil, her work explores perception, symbolism, and the threshold between realism and abstraction, allowing meaning to emerge through sustained attention and evolving systems of line.
