About me

I'm a multidisciplinary artist using sculpture and photography in my work. I'm driven by curiosity about the world. and how social and political issues impact individuals. I'm originally from Texas (and still say y'all), but I've lived in the UK for many years and also had sojourns living in Qatar and Mexico. And I've travelled to more than 50 countries (I'm passionate about travel).. These experiences have informed my work, but also been a great inspiration. That's not to say that I've been to every country that I've created.an artwork for. I haven''t.
I learned photography through books, short courses, visiting museums and galleries, studying others’ work and making mistakes.
I'm currently working on several new pieces: Switzerland, Morocco, Laos, South Korea and Ecuador.
That's in between all the pinching myself because I'm a Visual Art Open Finalist!
