About me

I work with cellulose fiber—water-friendly
paper—to create contemporary, functional design objects and
artworks. Rooted in my love for living, growing things, my
practice explores ecological themes and the quiet presence of
nature. Inspired by Nordic landscapes and the short, but
intense seasons in change, my work reflects minimalism,
Latvian identity, and the wabi-sabi spirit.
