About me

Working primarily with acrylic on canvas, I bring figurative subjects together with
expressive colour and instinctive brushwork. Birds, insects and other creatures
recur throughout my paintings, becoming characters in their own right.
Curiosity and playfulness run through my practice. Shifts in scale, unexpected
compositions and a tension between detail and freedom transform familiar
encounters into something new. My work draws attention to what is already around
us, the lives, movements and moments we so easily pass by.
Rather than simply showing nature, I want to invite the viewer to notice it, and to
look again.
I recently studied art in Barcelona and continue my practice in Stockholm.
