About me

Thank you for taking a look at my art!
You are welcome to contact me and see more of my art!

My paintings are windows into another world, into an invisible reality, into which I invite the viewer to look and find joy.

In art, I am interested in light and color. I find joy in them, and through my art, I want to convey that joy to the viewer.
When painting, I seek out unusual perspectives and color schemes—to a large extent, what I paint is a product of my imagination, yet it is inspired by the everyday things around me.

Marta Jurjāne holds a master’s degree in painting from the Art Academy of Latvia; she has participated in numerous group exhibitions and international plein air events, and has held approximately 20 solo exhibitions both in Latvia and abroad. Her works are held in private collections in Latvia, Europe, and the United States.
