About me

My name is Olena Morozova.
I am a visual multidisciplinary artist. I was born in Kyiv. In 2002, I graduated from the M. P. Dragomanov National University of Kyiv. Since 2015, I have been engaged in artistic practice, working with photography, collage, drawing, and installation; I explore social issues, themes of corporeality, sexuality, identity, family relationships, psychological states, and memory. Since 2022, I have been living and working between Poland and Ukraine.

I am author of books: “Granny” (2023), “I Knew She Would Never Have Children” (2024) ), “My Mum Dreamed of Seening the Ocean” (2025).

My works were exhibited in Fotodok, Netherlands (2023), Tbilisi Photography & Multimedia Museum, Georgia (2023), Southern Utah Museum of Art (2022), Walker Art Gallery, USA (2022), Encontros da Imagem (2022), Rybnik Photo Festival (2022), Łódź Fotofestiwal (2022,2023,2024), Finnish Museum of Photography (2022), Copenhagen Photo Festival (2022), Odesa Photo Days (2021), Photo Kyiv Fair (2020, 2019), were published in International Artdoc Magazine, Conbini Art (France), FotoNostrum Magazine (Spain), Vogue (Italy), Politiken (Denmark), Liberation (France), EESTI NAINE (Estonia), Positive.News (England), STERN (German), took (Gold, Silver, Bronze) prizes in international photo awards. I am FRESH EYES TELENT 2023, member of Futures Photography Platform, MYPH Community.
