About me
Originally from Brazil and now based in Weston, Florida, Patricia Beltran is a contemporary painter known for her expressive use of texture, color, and palette-knife techniques. Her artistic journey began in fabric arts before evolving into a distinctive sculptural approach to oil and acrylic on canvas.
Beltran’s work explores the relationship between art, emotion, and architectural space, with paintings held in private collections across the United States, Brazil, Peru, Russia, and Europe. Her work has been featured in South Florida and international media, and she has participated in prominent exhibitions, including Embracing Our Differences in Sarasota.
A recipient of the prestigious Denis Diderot Grant, Beltran completed an artist residency at Château d’Orquevaux in France, where her work is also part of the permanent collection. Passionate about inclusivity, she regularly supports nonprofit organizations through donations of her artwork. Her artistic process and philosophy are featured in her published monograph, Beauty of Texture: Sculpting with Paint.
