Combining the real and imaginative to illicit unique responses from any point of view. Abstract thoughts that meet to engage contemplation of geometric, organic lines and shape.
Drawing pictures became art class, which later on became an elective throughout
high school and college. I enrolled each year seeking to learn something new about
my possible potential, and which direction to pursue to get there.
In college, I took a variety of both drawing and painting courses as well as
three-dimensional with ceramics, wood and bronze. These combinations threw a
different perspective on things from classes years before. I realized that they were
all influential on what was beginning to define my style, but not completely.
My determination was and still is, to seek the next level of skill always realizing
that others have been here and climbed beyond. I never come to a stagnant point or arrival.
Being inspired by others previous works or achievements to acclimate towards is the catalyst
that drives and reminds me to create great work, but always work to make it better.
