About me

I'm motivated by the love letters of Emma Hauck, repetition as a means into the sublime/terror, Outsider Art and World Art, from Africa, Australia and elsewhere. Contemporary drawing. I'm interested in pattern. I lack an academic knowledge of anything. My work resembles fabric, often, as it is composed of small units repeated. It consists of the minimal amount of meaningful drawing, - cells, crosses, stitches and ladders, repeated ad infinitum using random numbers, to create an 'infinite field.'
I work from hand drawings that I make into digital files, composing separate elements into a larger whole, for instance.
My goal is to make a series of these 'infinite fields', that will be both decorative and hynotic, soothing and disturbing.
