About me
Zhang Ruoxi is an interdisciplinary artist whose creative practices primarily involve experimental film, mixed-media installations, sculpture, and painting. Her work focuses on the poetic presentation of reflections and sensations related to time, memory, dreams, and the human face. She continuously explores the marginal spaces between the world and her inner self, often embarking on backpacking trips to document diverse lives, faces, and states of being, using these as material for new works.
