About me
Santa is a painter who investigates memory and silence, offering scenarios that blend bodies with fiction and personal narratives. Painting intuitively and in layers, she works through experimentation and discovery. Her practice unfolds through acts of scavenging, uncovering, and collecting—assembling physical and emotional traces of human destinies.
Santa Kristiāna Krūze is a Latvian-born artist working in Riga. Currently studying MA Painting in the Art Academy of Latvia, before BA Functional Design, and sculpture at the Riga School of Design and Art.
