Curator, writer, and editor working across queer visual culture, image politics, and geographies — tracing how images construct identity, desire, memory, and political space.
I am a curator, writer, and editor working at the intersection of visual studies, queer culture, and the politics of images. My practice moves between curatorial research, editorial production, and exhibition thinking, with a particular focus on how images construct identity, memory, desire, and political space. My academic work traces the aesthetics of maritime geographies across contemporary art — from the Mediterranean as contested symbolic image to the Atlantic and Pacific as zones of displacement, extraction, and postcolonial infrastructure. Alongside this, I develop a sustained engagement with queer visual culture, exploring how art, spaces, and social forms carry intergenerational memory and shape modes of intimacy and belonging. My writing has appeared in and is forthcoming from The Gay and Lesbian Review Worldwide, Stayinart, and exhibitions catalogues. I have worked as Studio Director and Project Manager at Studio Marinella Senatore and studied Queer Art and Queer Curating at Node Center for Curatorial Studies, Berlin.
