About me

My approach questions our relationship with the body and the skin, and their return to the earth: to roots, to lichen, with all that this return to nature entails: mould, mud, decay.
Thus, like a cycle, or a passage, where nature reclaims what we create with our hands. By creating a dialogue between the environment and my practice, I aim to engage viewers in a reflection on time, transformation, and our own sense of belonging.

How can we accept the ephemeral, the impermanent, whilst working with biological materials? How can we draw inspiration from nature and from organic memory?
These questions take shape through the combination of paint, overlays and sculptural forms, creating accumulation and hybridisation.

I am currently studying at the European School of Visual Arts in Poitiers, France, where I develop my large-scale works in my studio. I have exhibited in both solo and group shows, as a professional, and hold a degree in fine arts after three years of study.
