About me
Born 1987 in Odesa, Ukraine. Live and work in Vienna, Austria. Received an MFA at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna.
The main underlying themes of my work are the queer identity, mortality, and inner dialogues in the face of global unrest; heavily influenced by Ukrainian folk aesthetics and mythology as well as Austrian Wiener Werkstätte movement.
I'm driven by a narrative based art, telling a story with each piece, each drawing to express what I cannot easily say with words. Countless hours go into one single artwork, creating a kind of meditative state as I'm working and quietly dwelling on the story.
