About me

I am a Latvian visual artist working with gentle, layered imagery that explores tone, stillness, and the quiet resilience of inner life. My practice centers on the soft human nature we often lose in a fast, loud world — inviting viewers back to simplicity, presence, and their own inner voice.

I work primarily in oil, developing slow, atmospheric surfaces that unfold over time. Watercolor studies and close-up fragments often accompany my process, revealing the subtle emotional shifts within larger works. As a woman and an artist, I am drawn to introspection, emotional depth, and the delicate strength found in silence.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Plastic Arts (Painting) from the Art Academy of Latvia and am currently pursuing my Master’s studies. My artistic path has been shaped by exhibitions in Latvia and France, as well as a study mobility period in Caen, where I deepened my interest in tonal painting, atmosphere, and the psychology of visual stillness.
