A painter of quiet atmospheres, I create layered, tonal works that explore the subtle, poetic interconnectedness between humans and nature.
I am a Latvian artist currently completing my fourth year of Visual Arts studies at the Art Academy of Latvia. In 2025 and early 2026, I expanded my artistic experience through an Erasmus+ study mobility programme in Caen, France, where I deepened my interest in observing landscapes, atmospheres and the quiet rhythms of everyday life.
I work primarily with oil, watercolour and charcoal. My practice focuses on tonal painting, subtle colour transitions and the transparency that emerges through layered techniques. I am drawn to themes of nature, travel impressions and everyday scenes, and much of my work centers on the search for balance and harmony. Through natural motifs, I explore the interconnectedness between humans and the environment, paying attention to the delicate shifts of mood, light and presence.
Since 2020, I have held four solo exhibitions and participated in several group shows. In 2024, my works were exhibited in Riga, Cēsis, and Sabile (Latvia), and in early 2026 they were shown in Caen (France). My works reflect a consistent dedication to sensitivity, observation and the poetic qualities of the natural world.
