About me

I’m a painter working with family photographs from personal archives, exploring how memory shifts, fades, and reshapes over time. My work focuses on the tension between the photograph as a seemingly fixed document and memory as something unstable and subjective. I select images intuitively—drawn to moments that create an immediate emotional response—and translate them into layered, fluid paintings where details dissolve and reappear. Through this process, I’m interested in how images can both preserve and distort the past, becoming something closer to a feeling than a record.
