My vibe
Fashion fades, but art endures.
My art is inspired by my work as a fashion designer.
I developed a digital and manual technique on metal that turns the fleeting into a lasting Inspiration..
About me
I was born in Hamburg and developed an early passion for painting and the arts. I studied Fashion Design in Hamburg, worked as a model, and spent many years traveling the world as a designer and buyer. Even after the birth of my two children, I continued my creative journey—founding my own children’s furniture company, exhibiting my paintings and illustrations, and launching my own fashion line.
As fashion fades, art endures. This realization led me in 2013 to devote myself entirely to art. Inspired by the culture of fashion and driven by a desire to blur the boundaries between art and fashion, I create large-scale works on metal, transforming the ephemeral into something lasting.
I enjoy challenging the art world with my innate sense of beauty, as I believe it takes courage today to embrace art that is unapologetically beautiful. My works express a strong sense of aesthetics, color, and form, while also critically reflecting on fashion and its excesses. Each piece contains an underlying story or association that invites reflection. Through my depictions of women, I present a multifaceted vision of female strength, character, elegance, and “girl power” in contemporary society.
I created and new technique in digital painting, combined with manual painted layers of resin. This process results in an image on top of an image. The metal base plays a crucial role, as it enhances the colors with a reflective luminosity, giving the work a vibrant depth. Light interacts with the surface in changing ways, allowing each piece to shift subtly depending on perspective and environment.
