Pieve di San Giovanni Battista a Corazzano

The work was created on a brick found near an ancient parish church in Corazzano. The brick was cleaned and engraved, like a rupestrian painting, depicting the outline of the church. On the sides, there are words narrating the vitality of today and the memory of the inspiring subject. The work was created in Bologna, where the artist currently lives. It is a lively city, however tourism often leads to an identity loss, putting aside history and culture. So, he chose to enhance the contrast with the church of his birthplace because there the ancient traditions are still being practiced.
