Vivir es recordar, recordar es vivir

Multimedia Installation -oil on canvas; inkjet print on photographic paper. The city's characters tell us its composition, our passage is made of memories, it is not material and often without a precise form. This pictorial work portrays characters who don't need to show physiognomies: the red bricks suggest the place, it is the clothing and their particular colors that give us recognition of each one. The work pays homage to Italo Calvino's 'The Invisible Cities', creating a visual poem of what a city can be for the artist; experiencing and navigating create memories and experiences.
