40 sheets of silk; Plant extraction and natural dyes on textiles; 80€/sheet-3200€/installation The work is linked to the long tradition of the dyeing craft and its rich cultural history. The body of work is an experimental silk city map that reflects the colors of the artist’s everyday paths through the city Halle an der Saale. You can see extracted plant colors dyed in textiles that she collected next to supermarkets, bus stops, etc. It is her concern to show us as viewers the pure power of the natural resource from our immediate vicinity and to approach our possibilities in the urban space.
