Is a variation of 'Hourglass I' but the 'X' shaped opening in the front with its serrated(zig-zag) contours add an existential dimension to its philosophical theme tinged with melancholy and it is difficult not to think about the famous image in the world in which the hourglass figures among the arsenal of objects which surround the winged figure in the center, mean to be an allegory. The hourglass or clepsydra is a timing device but also a powerful symbol of the passage of time and by extension, the transitoriness of life.
