This artwork is one of the series of paintings dedicated to the war in Ukraine. First of all, it is about the war, about people in the war, and also about my own experience. From the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine I was at my home, in Odesa, with my husband. And this painting depics us, the real moment, when one night, near our house, the oil plant was bombing by more than 10 russian rockets. We woke up because of unbearable roar, shaking house, and glow from explosions outside the window...
