The “Fade in” photo print series starts with the first photos of me that i have from my childhood and have no memory of. They have been digitally darkened to the point where they are barely seeable. I present them as if they would be the first and also oldest frames of a fragmented « film about my life » as it fades in from black. The photos are barely seeable and the effect works best when you see them live or in the gallery.
