After the phase of the Microdisegni and the attempt to reduce appearances to the essentials, the artist began to work sculpturally. The choice of the baseplate creates the framework that places the work in a context appropriate to it. A fundamental line generates fantasy. The figures appear as if frozen in their movement frozen or just on the move. They seek meaning in the pure dynamics of the line, the only one that defines them in the momentum of their movement.
