An illustration I did for "Character design" class, showing the early morning adventurous spirit of a veteran pirate captain and the hesitation of a new recruit. The young man, having roamed the streets his entire life, gets offered a new home in a pirate crew under the protection of Captain Zefir, who he later comes to see as family.
